Hi! I’m Darryl, AKA ‘Dash’, a ceramic artist based in San Francisco. I started working with clay in 2022, looking for a creative outlet and a sense of community, and quickly fell in love with the process. I’ve been learning and creating ever since at Ruby’s Ceramic Studio in The Castro!
I enjoy both wheel-throwing and hand-building, especially experimenting with surface design and layered glazes. Most of my work is fired at cone 10 reduction, giving it rich textures and lasting durability.
Each piece is made with the hope that it brings a little beauty, comfort, or joy into your life. Thanks so much for being here!
